Attorney Gisele Ambrosio is a Brazilian – American lawyer in Los Angeles, California, with over 20 years of experience. She is licensed to practice law in Brazil and in the United States.
Ms. Ambrosio was born and raised in Brazil, and at the age of 18 she was accepted to attend law school at the prestigious Federal University of Rio De Janeiro. She graduated at the age of 22, with a focus on International Business Law. She was immediately admitted to practice law in Brazil, after which she moved to the United States to pursue a Master’s degree in Law. She obtained her degree from the California Western School of Law, in San Diego. Afterwards she passed the California State Bar.
For the past 12 years, Ms. Ambrosio has been the attorney for the Brazilian Consulate in Los Angeles. She has been counseled and advised on various complex international cases, throughout many different areas of the law, including the applicability of Brazilian laws to local US laws.

Due to her passion for international business, Ms. Ambrosio is one of the Directors of the Brazil-California Chamber of Commerce, the largest Brazilian Chamber on the West Coast, and one of the most active in the US. She has extensive experience with immigration, Family Law, Contracts and International Law. She has legal experience in both South America and the United States, with a unique perspective and expertise to offer.
Diligent about helping the Brazilian Immigrant Community, Ms Ambrosio was officially appointed by the Citizens Council of Brazilians in Los Angeles as the spokesperson to represent all of the Brazilians in eight different states of the United States. She spoke on their behalf before the Itamaraty, the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Ms. Ambrosio was also the President of the Brazilian Citizens Council of Southern California for 6 years and she has been a member for 10 years. The Council, a community-oriented group, is conducted with the support of the Brazilian Consulate, and seeks to bridge the relationship between the community and the government.
